At the heart of this work is an
ancient understanding.​
​
In Ancient Greece, it was believed that to access the Other World, after death, you needed to give a secret password to Hekate, the Great Goddess who held the Keys to the Gates of the Other World.
​
In case you're curious, here's the password:
"I am a child of Earth and Starry Heaven.
But my race is of Heaven alone."
Oh, how I love this password—so much so, I'm considering where to have it inked on my body.

It's a profound reminder of our dual heritage: that we are children of both Earth and Starry Heaven. We exist at this extraordinary intersection between worlds, where the time-bound, 3D world of matter and form (Earth) meets the eternal, formless realm of the Divine (Starry Heaven).
​
Numerologically, the numbers 4 and 9 are signified here, representing the tangible energy of our Earthly existence (4), and the transcendent, boundless nature of our Divine essence (9).
​​
It's important to understand that the material world (4) is not separate from—or in opposition to—the Divine (9). They're two parts of the same whole, intricately and eternally entwined. Both this world and the Otherworld are holy; simply revealing different manifestations of the One. At this level of reality, matter (4) is the precious container that holds the inner light, or the spark of Divinity (9), of all that exists in this physical realm - each person, blade of grass, mountain, bird, and tree.​

At the core of my work lies the ancient art of alchemy. What does this mean for you?
